Hitchhiking is becoming my preferred way of travelling. The main reason why that is the case is not that it is a cheap way to get around, but that it is a very personal experience. Hitchhiking is somehow the Anti-Uber – when convincing somebody on a road to stop for you, you get in the front seat and get to know the other person. Hitchhiking is like a wildcard in a modern day world which increasingly relies on apps and smartphone technologies.

I am currently studying in a program called “Master’s in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability” (MSLS) at Blekinge Tekniska Högskola (BTH) in Karlskrona, Sweden. The goal of the program is to give students the tools to support the transition to a more sustainable development in their field of interest or expertise. We are around 50 people graduating from the program in 2018.

Schweden hat den Ruf eines progressiven, liberalen Landes. In zahlreichen Statistiken wird das Land als Vorbild herangezogen. Schweden gilt als innovativ, das schwedische Sozialsystem als großzügig und Menschenrechte werden in Schweden großgeschrieben. Auch beim Thema Gleichberechtigung gilt Schweden als Vorreiter: Im Global Gender Gap Index des World Economic Forum befindet sich Schweden auf dem 4. Platz, im Glass-Ceiling Index des Economist auf Platz 2.

Im Jänner 2017 habe ich diese Domain gekauft. Im Februar 2017 habe ich das obige „Logo“ entworfen. In den darauffolgenden Monaten habe ich immer wieder Kleinigkeiten geändert, aber keinen einzigen Beitrag veröffentlicht.
